Answers to usual first questions: We do all usual gynecological care—pelvic exams, pap smears, breast exams, orders for mammograms and bone density tests. We use conventional laboratory and diagnostic tests, and we use diagnostic methods unique to naturopathic medicine. We have broad prescription authority—birth control, antibiotics, hormones, and pain control, all used appropriately. We teach economical and effective use of supplements. When appropriate, we refer to practitioners across all barriers and boundaries of medicine. We have sturdy working relationships with physicians in all specialties and with other alternative practitioners. Many insursance policies reimubruse for care. We do not accept insurance assignment, but give you completed claims forms. We extend credit.
